As soon as you enter our building, you smell our history. This is a place untouched by time. Our building, housing our distillery and shop, is still in its original state. We will first welcome you in our historic Tasting Room, which was once Simon Rutte’s living room. Five generations of distillers lived and worked here. It’s clear to see, it’s clear to smell, and it’s clear to taste.
Rutte’s history is rich in anecdotes and fun facts, and we’ll gladly introduce you to this remarkable past.
Access and terms & conditions
The General Terms & Conditions of Distilleerderij Rutte apply to all bookings. We will send you the terms by e-mail together with your reservation information.
All visitors to the Tasting room must be at least 18 years old.
The entrance of the Tasting room is situated on the side of the building, in the Stoofstraat.
Accessibility
Because the Tasting room is situated on the first floor of the old family home, accessibility is limited for persons of reduced mobility (accessible only by stairs).
